Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that offers beauty related items. You go to their website and fill out a profile letting Ipsy know the type of items you're most interested in along with personal questions regarding hair color, eye color, etc. You decide if you'd like a month by month subscription or a long term (6 month or 1 year). Each month you can go to your glam room to see what items Ipsy has chosen for you. After receiving your bag and trying out the products you go back to your glam room and do a review and you receive 10 Ipsy points per review. Once you've reached 1000 points they can be redeemed for special items. You can also receive Ipsy point for each referral you get. The cost of the subscription is $10.00. You will receive 4-6 items and they can be sample and/or full size. You always get more than $10.00 worth of products which is why I'm a fan and have been subscribed for about a  year now. If this is something you'd like to checkout I have a link to the right of my page.
This was my Ipsy Bag for August. I received 5 items this month. I also received an Urban Decay Perversion Mascara but had to try it out immediately which is why it is not in the photo. Love It!
So my items were a Coastal Scents Forever Blush Duo Sample,Jersey Shore Sun Mongongo Lip Conditioner, Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, Lord & Berry Silk Kajal Eye Pencil.
The Perversion mascara was a deluxe sample size, but I found it to be generous and was very happy with the performance of it. I will definitely buy the full size.
The Coastal Scents blush duo could have been a little larger but no complaints as it is enough to be able to try out. I do like Coastal Scents products and own an eyeshadow palette from them.
The Lip Conditioner is full size and is always good to have in my purse, I am a lip balm junkie.
The Klorane Dry Shampoo is something I won't use. I never use these kinds of products but my daughter does. I always hold on to these types of items for her, and she always appreciates and loves them.
The Lord & Berry eye liner again is a small sample size and I would have liked this to be larger. I have arthritis in both hands and pencils this small/short are very hard for me to handle. I will pass this on to my daughter.
The bag itself is a barrel type and bright. I only have a couple of bags like this so I'm happy to have it. The bag itself holds a good amount of products and is something fun to trade out with.
My overall thoughts on this bag are positive. Although a couple of items were small in my opinion, for a sample size they were acceptable. I find that the $10.00 I spent on my bag is well worth it, there are a  couple of brands here I have never heard of and I do enjoy getting new items to try out.

Now on to my September Bag. I received 5 items again this month and the theme was Street Style. I received Alterna Haircare Caviar CC Conditioner 10-in-1 Complete Correction, Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush, Cailyn Air Touch Tinted Lip Gloss, Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser, Pacifica 7 Free Nail Polish
I have received Nourish Organic before as a hand lotion and I liked it. This is a good size tube and I will probably get 3 uses from it.
I have received Cailyn products before but not in a gloss. The color looks pretty intense but I think over a light lipstick it will be fine.
The Crown Brush was a nice addition. I have received Coastal Scents brushes in the past and I was happy with them. I think Crown Brush is a step up from Coastal Scents as far as quality but I'm not downing Coastal Scents at all. I love all of the brushes I've gotten so far and have even purchased from their site and bought sets of them.
Pacifica is a brand I have received in past bags, most recently being an eyeshadow duo. I have never tried the Pacifica nail polishes and I am looking forward to trying this one. The color is beautiful, it is Red Red Wine. I love the Pacifica line, I have a few of their body lotions and perfumes and will gladly accept anything they offer.
Lastly the Alterna Caviar Conditioner. I haven't tried this yet but I'm sure I will see a difference in my hair after use. I have fine, dry hair and am always in need of a good conditioning treatment.
My thoughts on this bag - It's an A++! I like all the brands I received, I can use all the products and I think it was a nice mix. I consider this $10.00 well spent. I just checked the Pacifica website and I see that the nail polish alone retails for $9.00 so this bag as a whole was a very good value.
